Not yet. PHYTOSPEX is completing regulatory certification and laboratory validation, and we are not taking general orders until that is finished. Pilot placements are open now, and we will publish pricing and availability the moment we can honour them.

This is the question we are least willing to answer loosely. The instrument measures reflected light honestly and repeatably; turning that into soil chemistry is the hard part, and our validation against accredited laboratory results is not complete. Until it is, the app shows a confidence range with every value and tells you plainly where it is uncertain. We would rather lose a sale than quote an accuracy figure we cannot yet defend.

No, and we would be careful of anyone who says their field device does. A laboratory measures soil chemistry directly. This measures light and infers from it. It is built to give you a fast, in-field indication between lab tests — not to replace the Soil Health Card.

It needs an Android phone, but no internet. The device creates its own Wi-Fi hotspot that your phone joins. Readings, advice and history are stored on the phone and sync only when you next have a connection — and only if you are signed in.

It shines eight wavelengths of light, from violet to near-infrared, onto a prepared soil sample and measures what comes back. The shape of that reflectance curve carries information about organic matter, moisture and soil condition, which the app converts into indicators with a confidence range.

Individual farmers who want an answer at the plot; FPOs and cooperatives sharing one instrument across many member fields; and KVKs, universities and government bodies doing extension work who need exportable records.

Readings stay on your phone unless you sign in and sync. If you do, they are stored on servers in India. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers, and you can ask us to export or delete it at any time.
